JFM WebMail
Webmailcome FREE with all JFM Hosting plans
The JFM Hosting webmail facility is a bit like Hotmail, it provides a browser based interface for you to send and receive email from your mailbox on our servers, ideal for keeping in touch when you are away from your computer at home. CLICK HERE to access your email online.
Accessing Webmail Webmail can be accessed at the URL http://webmail.jfmradio.co.uk. You will be prompted for the username and password of the mailbox you wish to access. Enter these details and click the 'Login' button. Once logged in, click the 'Log Out' link from the navigation menu to end your webmail session at any time.
You can also choose a different FROM address to the address mapped to your POP3 mailbox. This is useful if you use your mailbox as a receiver of mail from another domain or as a collector of Group email. Additionally, you can alter the appearance of the webmail to one of the three skins available to whichever suits your liking.
Onced you have logged in, you are immediately taken to the contents of your Inbox.
Top Menu Links The menu links along the top of the webmail have the following usages:
Compose This will Compose a New email and allow you to send it to a recipient of your choice. Note that if you are in the "Contacts" section, clicking Compose will allow you to add a New Contact.
Get Mail The Get Mail link will check for any new mail that has arrived in your Inbox since you logged into the webmail client.
Options Click on Options to configure a friendly From Name for outgoing emails, a time zone and also a signature to be added on all outgoing emails.
Delete This will delete the mail items selected and move them to the 'Deleted Folder'. Items in the 'Deleted Folder' can be deleted by selecting that folder, then selecting the messages and then click on 'Delete'.
Log Off Click this button to log out of the webmail and end your session.
Folders The folders section of the webmail allows you to view your Inbox, Sent Items, Deleted Items and your Contacts. Click on each of them to view their contents.
Notes on Email Please be aware that as part of our system maintenance, designed to ensure continuous provision of high quality service, messages more than three months old are removed from your mailbox. If you need to keep messages for a longer period of time you must download them to your system using a POP3 mail client.
